Falken Motorsports is gearing up to return to the Nürburgring 24 Hours competition in 2023 with two of their brand new Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) cars, which are set to be an exciting highlight of the season. This will represent Falken’s 13th year as a Porsche customer team, beginning in 2011, where they have seen incredible success.
Since 2018, Falken has competed with the outgoing Porsche 911 GT3 R (991.2) and, as a result, has managed to secure multiple wins and podiums on the challenging Nordschleife track. In 2022 alone, they achieved two impressive victories at the 6-hour and 12-hour NLS endurance races – truly a testament to their skill within the racing world.
Now, as they look forward to 2023 and beyond, Falken is incredibly excited about this new chapter as they strive for even more success on the circuit. With their all-new 911 GT3 R (992), Falken Motorsports can look forward to reaching new heights of racing performance, backed by one of the most reliable car manufacturers in Germany – Porsche.
Falken Motorsports has been eagerly awaiting the arrival of its two brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) cars. They have already had the opportunity to experience the power of this new car by competing with it at NLS 8 back in October.
“We are delighted to return to the Nordschleife in 2023 as a Porsche customer team and compete with the brand new 911 GT3 R,” says Stefanie Olbertz, Falken Tyres’ motorsport manager. “The new model is a major step forward in performance and design and we can’t wait to hit the track with it and fight for victory throughout the NLS season and at the Nürburgring 24 Hours.”
